Refunds and Returns Policy
Introduction
At Ministry of Tea, we are dedicated to providing you with the finest teas and ensuring your satisfaction with every purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with your order, please review our refunds and returns policy below.
Returns
Eligibility for Returns
- Items must be unused and in the same condition that you received them.
- Items must be in the original packaging.
- Returns must be initiated within 30 days of receipt of your order.
Non-Returnable Items
- Perishable goods (e.g., teas that have been opened)
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
- Some health and personal care items
Return Process
- Contact our customer service team at info@ministryoftea.co.za with your order number and reason for return.
- We will provide you with instructions on where to send your returned items.
- Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Refunds
Approval of Refunds
- If your return is approved, we will process your refund, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of days.
- Please note that it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Partial Refunds
- Only partial refunds may be granted for items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Late or Missing Refunds
- If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
- Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
- Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
- If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@ministryoftea.co.za.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same item, please contact us at info@ministryoftea.co.za with your order number and details of the defect or damage.
Shipping
Return Shipping Costs
- You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
- If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Shipping Times
- Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
- If you are shipping an item over R500, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
